7 New COVID-19 Cases Including 2 Positive at Gwangju Temporary Screening Clinic...Total 1,248 Confirmed
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seven more COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Gwangju, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,248.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 5th, one case is related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital, one case to Evergreen Silver House (nursing home), one case to Gwangju Cheongsa Church, and four cases have unknown infection routes, registered as cases 1242 to 1248.
Cases 1242, 1244, 1246, and 1247 have not yet had their infection routes identified. Among these, cases 1246 and 1247 were tested at a temporary screening clinic set up by Gwangju City Hall and were confirmed positive.
The total number of confirmed cases identified through voluntary testing at the temporary screening clinic, which has been operating since the 27th of last month, has increased to 14.
Case 1243 is an employee of Hyojeong Nursing Hospital who tested positive while in self-quarantine.
