Guro-gu Holds Online Opening Ceremony on the 4th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Guro-gu held an online opening ceremony for all district office employees on the 4th.
District Mayor Lee Seong recorded a video greeting for the 2021 New Year from his office to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Mayor Lee first expressed his gratitude to the employees who fought against COVID-19 last year to ensure the safety of residents.
He also thanked them for the successful progress of existing projects such as the declaration of "Guro, a city without layoffs," the opening of the Cheonwang Station Job Total Platform "Youth Irum," the Anyangcheon Riverside Arboretum project, the complex development project on the site of correctional facilities, as well as achievements like ranking first in the intercultural city index evaluation, receiving the Presidential Award at the Dasan Mokmin Awards hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and winning the Manifesto Competition and the Ministry of Employment and Labor's job evaluation award for 11 consecutive years.
