Chorokbaem to Co-Produce Drama 'That Night' Starring Kim Soo-hyun and Cha Seung-won

The Studio M is a content production company established with the participation of director Lee Myung-woo, South Korea's top director who led all the dramas he directed?such as "The Fiery Priest," "Punch," "Whisper," and "Backstreet Rookie"?to syndrome-level hits.
"Geunal Bam," originally based on the British BBC's "Criminal Justice," is set to achieve a historic-level casting with actors Kim Soo-hyun and Cha Seung-won, promising a blockbuster hit in early 2021.
"Geunal Bam" is a drama that explores the criminal justice system from a highly popular perspective through the intense story of two men surrounding a woman's murder case. It is a remake of the BBC's "Criminal Justice," adapted to fit Korean sensibilities. Director Lee Myung-woo, who demonstrates top-notch directing skills across genres from gripping thrillers to comedies, and writer Kwon Soon-gyu, known for dramatic and gripping scripts such as "The Rebel" and "Daebak," have joined forces for this project.
In the drama, Kim Soo-hyun plays Kim Hyun-soo, a university student who becomes a murder suspect due to a one-night mistake. Kim Hyun-soo is a character who dramatically leads the story, showing everything from an ordinary college student to a person falling into the abyss of life after being involved in a murder case.
Kim Soo-hyun is an actor who has caused syndromes in South Korea with every work he has appeared in, including the dramas "Moon Embracing the Sun," "My Love from the Star," and the films "The Thieves" and "Secretly, Greatly." Recently, through his comeback work "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" after military discharge, he once again proved his explosive acting skills and star power.
