BYN Black Yak, First in Apparel Industry to Establish Smart Work System
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] BYN Black Yak (Chairman Kang Tae-seon) has established a 'Smart Work' environment applying mobile virtual desktop technology for the first time in the apparel industry.
Black Yak recently introduced the virtual desktop (VDI) and mobile virtual desktop (mVDI/mDaaS) infrastructure from Tilon, a leading cloud virtualization company, for the first time in the industry in line with the newly emerging era of non-face-to-face work. Based on this, they plan to actively pursue digital transformation to build a smart work system.
By adopting virtual desktops, Black Yak employees can continuously carry out work even in external environments such as telecommuting, fieldwork, and business trips. In addition, important information such as business strategies, accounting data, and product designs is centrally managed on virtual desktops instead of local PCs, fundamentally blocking the risk of internal document leaks and thereby strengthening internal security.
Hwang Il-chan, Executive Director of Black Yak's Digital Business Division, said, "We will use this Black Yak digital transformation project as a stepping stone to continue digital transformation in related fields with Tilon."
