[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The government strongly condemned the terrorist attack that occurred at Aden International Airport in Yemen, which is in the midst of a civil war, and expressed condolences to the victims and their families.
On the 4th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a spokesperson's comment, "Our government strongly condemns the terrorist attack at Aden International Airport, which occurred at a critical time when the Riyadh Agreement is being implemented, including the launch of Yemen's new unified cabinet, and expresses deep condolences to the victims and their families."
It added, "Our government supports the efforts of the Yemeni government and people, as well as the international community, to end the civil war in Yemen."
Earlier, the Yemeni government announced that 16 people were killed and more than 60 injured in a large-scale bomb attack at Aden Airport in southern Yemen on the 30th of last month. The number of casualties later increased significantly to 25 dead and 110 injured.
