[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Jeon Young-mook, CEO of Samsung Life Insurance, stated on the 4th, "In 2021, the first year of a new decade, we will start a vigorous race to create a new history."
On the same day, during an online opening ceremony broadcast live in the morning, CEO Jeon announced this and proposed the 'Five Paths to Achieve the 2030 Vision.'
The five paths proposed by CEO Jeon are ▲ the 'Path of Coexistence' with customers ▲ the 'Path of Communication' with the field ▲ the 'Path of Value' pursuing long-term growth ▲ the 'Path of Challenge' without fear ▲ and the 'Path of Integrity' following compliance.
To practice the path of coexistence, CEO Jeon emphasized, "We must strengthen systems and institutions to restore consumer rights and focus on creating customer value through innovative products and new services."
Also, to broaden the path of communication, he proposed, "Management will transparently share the reality as it is with employees, understand various opinions and difficulties from the field, and reflect them in management to create a dynamic culture."
Furthermore, he explained, "All management will be based on whether it helps enhance mid- to long-term value, and through balanced strategies that consider the company's future value, we will lead the company on a value-centered path."
CEO Jeon added, "We will seek new technologies, new businesses, and new markets, look higher and farther without hesitation, and pioneer new paths of growth. We will strengthen compliance functions and organize internal control systems to establish management without deficiencies, thereby creating a framework for sustainable management. We will also take the lead in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management so that future generations can live in a clean environment."
