Auction Successfully Concludes ‘Heehee Nakchal’ Campaign for Building Lou Gehrig Care Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Auction, operated by eBay Korea, announced on the 3rd that the donation campaign "Heehee Nakchal," conducted together with the Seungil Hope Foundation and Clean Nara, to build a Lou Gehrig care center, has successfully concluded.
Heehee Nakchal is a customer participation donation event organized with the purpose of sharing hope through a charity auction. Various events, including auctions of cherished items from popular celebrities, were held from the 14th to the 28th of last month.
The auction of cherished items donated by five celebrities?EXO's Suho, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung, KIA Tigers baseball player Kim Sun-bin, singer Kim Bum-soo, and singer Sean?was awarded to customers who placed the highest bids on each item at the closing time. In particular, the "Prainok Hoodie" donated by EXO's Suho was sold for 1.76 million KRW, marking the highest price in this event. All proceeds from this auction will be donated to the construction of the Lou Gehrig care center.
Clean Nara offered various products such as toilet paper, masks, and hand sanitizing wipes at discounted prices during this promotion. The hygiene products will be delivered to patients with Lou Gehrig's disease in quantities corresponding to the sales volume during the event period.
Auction also held various events for customers who could not participate in the auction. Along with the sale of With Ice donation products, a cheering comment challenge and sharing event were conducted. Auction will donate an additional 20 million KRW, matched at 100 KRW per cheering comment and 1,000 KRW per share, from the Auction Sharing Shopping Fund to the Seungil Hope Foundation.
