From Settlement to Audit... KOSDAQ Listed Companies Association Provides Comprehensive Support for Member Companies' Regular General Meetings
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The Korea Listed Companies Association will support KOSPI-listed companies in holding their regular shareholders' meetings next year.
The association announced on the 30th that it will operate a "Shareholders' Meeting Helpdesk" service. This is to systematically support companies facing practical difficulties in various areas such as settlement, internal and external audits, meeting organization, and business report submission, due to recent amendments to the Commercial Act related to corporate governance and the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Additionally, the association plans to provide services including consulting on articles of incorporation revisions according to the amended Commercial Act, a shareholders' meeting agenda review service that predicts institutional investors' approval or disapproval of proposals, and on-site operational support during shareholders' meetings.
