Mask Corporation Supports 3.56 Million Masks for COVID-19 Vulnerable Groups in Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] 'Mask Sangsa,' located in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, will donate 3.56 million health masks worth 1.4 billion KRW to Seoul City.
According to Seoul City on the 30th, at 2 p.m. that day, a 'Mask Donation Ceremony to Overcome the COVID-19 Crisis' will be held in the city hall video conference room, attended by Lee Moon-hoe, CEO of Mask Sangsa; Seo Jeong-hyeop, Acting Mayor of Seoul; Kim Yong-hee, Secretary General of Seoul Community Chest of Korea; and Kim Jeong-an, Chairman of the nonprofit organization Hope Sharing People.
The donated items consist of a total of 3,564,000 masks, including 1,188,000 KF94 masks and 2,376,000 KF80 masks, which will be distributed to vulnerable groups in Seoul through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea and Hope Sharing People.
CEO Lee Moon-hoe registered as the 66th 'Honor Society' member in Jeollabuk-do by donating 100 million KRW to the Jeollabuk-do Community Chest of Korea last June, and on the 17th of this month, he donated 2.37 million masks to vulnerable groups in Jeollabuk-do, continuously engaging in sharing activities for the local community.
CEO Lee explained, "Watching the recent spread of COVID-19 in Seoul, as a mask specialist company, I wanted to contribute even a little, so I decided to participate in the donation."
