Daelim's New Name is DL... "Leap to a Global Developer"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim On-yu] Daelim, which will officially launch as a holding company system starting January next year, has finalized its group name as DL and unveiled its new corporate identity (CI) on the 29th.
The company names have been confirmed as DL Co., Ltd. for the holding company, DL E&C for Daelim Industrial's construction division, and DL Chemical for Daelim Industrial's petrochemical division.
Affiliates Daelim Energy, Daelim FnC, and Daelim Motors will also change their names to DL Energy, DL FnC, and DL Motors, respectively.
On this day, DL Group's official image CI was also revealed.
DL explained, "The newly introduced CI symbolizes and emphasizes DL's business of building the fundamentals of the world as if stacking blocks." They added, "The color inherits the blue from Daelim's existing CI, signifying the continuation of Daelim's tradition."
Marking its 82nd anniversary next year, DL plans to strengthen the group's identity through the new name and CI and leap forward as a global developer through innovation and change.

Ahead of its launch in January next year, DL Group consolidated its affiliates scattered across various locations in Seoul, including Gwanghwamun and Namdaemun, into the newly built 'D Tower Donuimun' on Tongil-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The new headquarters spans from six basement floors to 26 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 86,224 square meters, accommodating about 3,000 employees, including staff from six DL Group affiliates.
