[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 29th that it has carried out a large-scale executive appointment by appointing 8 executive vice presidents (acting).

This executive appointment focused on strengthening sales capabilities by selecting branch managers with excellent performance and headquarters department heads with outstanding work abilities as new executives, pursuing active changes to stabilize the organization and enhance sales power, while also establishing a new lineup for proactive response in the era of COVID-19.
Among the 8 newly appointed executives, 6 were promoted internally (Lee Dal-ho, Yang Seong-hyun, Lee Gwang-ho, Lee Woo-kyung, Jo Gye-jun, Jo Hyun-gi), and 2 were external experts brought in through a bold personnel move.
Among the external executives, Park Jong-chun, acting vice president of the Digital Headquarters, was recruited to strengthen the digital sector and currently concurrently serves as an executive director at JB Financial Group.
Han Hyeong-gu, acting vice president of the Credit Support Headquarters, has served for many years as head of corporate credit review at KB Kookmin Bank, was the representative of the Gangwon-Gyeonggi Northern Regional Sales Group, and is currently an executive director at KB Capital’s Credit Operations Headquarters. Meanwhile, along with the executive appointments, 33 young and capable new branch managers at grade 3 were massively appointed to cope with the increasingly fierce sales environment, including the appointment of 10 female branch managers, marking a generational change and selection to prepare for the sales battle.
