According to CDSCH, H5-type AI antigen was detected during pre-slaughter inspection at this farm, and detailed testing confirmed it as highly pathogenic H5N8. CDSCH carried out preventive culling of poultry within a 3 km radius of the affected farm. Additionally, poultry farms within a 10 km radius are subject to a 30-day movement restriction and comprehensive AI testing. All poultry farms in Jeongeup, the affected area, are restricted from movement for 7 days.
