Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Participates in 'Love Blood Donation' Campaign
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Western Fire Station (Chief Lee Cheontak) announced on the 28th that it will participate in the "Love Blood Donation" campaign.
The campaign will be held at the Korean Red Cross Gwangju Jeonnam Blood Center vehicle in the Western Fire Station parking lot.
About 30 people, including firefighters, volunteer firefighters, and social service personnel, participated in this blood donation, which was organized as a measure to overcome the severe blood shortage caused by the cancellation of group blood donations due to the spread of COVID-19.
Chief Lee Cheontak said, "I hope this will be of some help during the winter blood donation off-season, and we will continue to participate in blood donations so that the blood donation events do not end as one-time events while the COVID-19 crisis continues."
