Pocheon City to Provide 3rd Disaster Relief Fund for Specially Affected Small Business Sectors
Support of 200,000 KRW per Business for 3,738 Special Damage Industry Locations
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province, will provide the 3rd disaster relief fund for special damage industries to small business owners struggling due to measures such as gathering bans and business restrictions amid the spread of COVID-19.
According to Pocheon City on the 23rd, a total of 750 million KRW will be supported to 3,738 small business owners in special damage industries subject to gathering bans and business restrictions.
The support amount is 200,000 KRW per business, and businesses that already received the 2nd disaster relief fund for special damage industries last November will be credited with the amount as points on the 'Pocheon Love Gift Certificate' within the year without a separate application.
By industry, the eligible businesses are the same as those for the 2nd special damage industries: ▲12 high-risk facilities among gathering ban industries (entertainment bars, colatecs, karaoke bars, emotional pubs, hunting pochas, singing practice rooms, indoor standing performance halls, indoor group exercise (intense GX types), direct sales promotion centers for door-to-door sales, large academies, buffets, PC rooms) ▲gathering ban industries (academies, reading rooms, study cafes, vocational training institutions, indoor sports facilities) ▲business restriction industries (general restaurants, cafes, bakeries) ▲individual and corporate taxi workers, private academies, bathhouses, etc.

Even businesses that did not apply for the 2nd small business disaster relief fund can apply by visiting the city's Job and Economy Division if they belong to the eligible industries.
