2021 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign KF-AD Mask Donation of 100,000 Units Worth 20 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] J-Way, operating the promotional products comprehensive shopping mall J-Way Gift, delivered 100,000 KF-AD masks (worth 20 million KRW) to Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) on the 22nd.
This is part of the 2021 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign (Daggyeo).
At the delivery ceremony, five people including Seong Jang-hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, and Seo Jeong-won, Director of J-Way Gift, attended, minimizing the program and number of attendees to maintain social distancing.
The district plans to distribute the donated items to vulnerable groups within the community.
Located in Namyeong-dong, J-Way is a public institution priority purchase company and also donated 3,072 adult diapers to the Yongsan-gu Dementia Relief Center last October.
Seong Jang-hyun, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, “We express our gratitude to J-Way for practicing sharing during difficult times.”
The district has been conducting the Daggyeo campaign since last month in cooperation with the Seoul Social Welfare Community Chest. The campaign aims to help basic livelihood security recipients, elderly living alone, disabled people, and single-parent families through donations from residents and companies.

The donation acceptance period is until February 15 next year, with counters set up at the district office’s Welfare Policy Division, 16 community service centers, and the Yongsan Welfare Foundation.
