[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 23rd that it has signed a 'Business Agreement for Digital Financial Innovation' with Naver Cloud.
Through this agreement, the two companies have agreed to actively cooperate in the introduction and utilization of digital innovation technologies such as cloud and AI (artificial intelligence).
They will establish a continuous communication channel to review whether there are any digital technologies owned by Naver and its affiliates that can be integrated with the bank, and if necessary, the two companies plan to directly pursue technological collaboration.
In addition, they agreed to discover and mutually recommend promising startups that possess innovative financial technologies and ideas. They will share a startup pool and consider these startups as collaborative companies for IBK's innovation testbed 'IBK 1st Lab,' which is operated for developing innovative financial products and services.
If participating companies in 'IBK 1st Lab' wish, Naver Cloud will provide the 'Greenhouse Program,' which includes cloud usage credits and technical consulting.
Naver Cloud provides enterprise cloud services across various industries and is responsible for cloud service commercialization of technologies owned by Naver and developing B2B sales channels. It also operates the 'Greenhouse Program' to support startups and fintech companies.
