As a special quarantine reinforcement measure, any citizen using the KTX station can receive a free test regardless of symptoms, aiming to reduce blind spots.
Additionally, a 'Pohang Buk-gu Base Drive-Through' will be set up at Yangdeok Hanmaeum Gymnasium and is scheduled to begin operation from the 24th. This is expected to minimize inconvenience such as reducing waiting time for citizens who want to get tested and preventing infectious disease transmission among those waiting.
Along with this, the 'Rapid Mobile Specimen Collection Team' formed to block secondary transmissions conducted initial mobile specimen collection for 170 residents of Haksan Jugong Apartments on the 21st.
To secure insufficient medical personnel, Pohang City recruited 124 members for the 'Emergency Medical Support Team' and held a launching ceremony in November. Initially, 25 members of the Emergency Medical Support Team (nurses, nursing assistants, clinical pathologists) were deployed to the temporary screening clinic and Hanmaeum Gymnasium.
