The Red Cross membership fees, contributed by citizens little by little, are used for COVID-19 quarantine efforts, various disaster relief activities, and support for socially vulnerable groups. The consolation goods (ramen) delivered by the Red Cross to Daegu on this day are scheduled to be distributed to 1,410 vulnerable households through district and county offices.
Along with the special donation ceremony, the RCHC (Red Cross Honours Club) enrollment ceremony for Seong Jeom-hwa, CEO of New Prime (Daegu No. 15), was also held.
RCHC is a high-value individual donor group of the Korean Red Cross, launched in September 2016 to promote the culture of personal donations in Korea. It consists of members who have donated more than 100 million KRW or have pledged donations within five years. Currently, there are 168 members nationwide, with 15 registered in Daegu.

Mayor Kwon Young-jin congratulated CEO Seong Jeom-hwa on joining the RCHC, saying, "I hope the noble purpose of Red Cross activities will be widely conveyed to the local community so that all citizens can actively participate in Red Cross humanitarian activities."
