[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Bitcoin, the number one cryptocurrency by market capitalization, showed a slight decline in both domestic and international markets.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb on the 22nd, as of 11:43 AM, Bitcoin was recorded at 25,587,000 KRW, down 0.30% (77,000 KRW) compared to 24 hours earlier. A total of 328 billion KRW worth was traded during the day.
Most other cryptocurrencies also showed a downward trend. Bitcoin Cash (-4.79%), EOS (-2.60%), and Litecoin (-3.53%) all declined.
Bitcoin also showed weakness in overseas markets. According to cryptocurrency market data company CoinMarketCap, at the same time, Bitcoin was recorded at $22,891.43, down 3.33% from the previous day.
