Loan Interest Rates for Small and Medium Enterprise Workers Reduced by up to 1.30%p Annually
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 15th that it has launched a non-face-to-face overdraft loan product called ‘i-ONE SME Worker Preferential Credit Loan’ that favors employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
All salaried workers can receive an interest rate reduction of up to 0.9 percentage points annually depending on their transaction performance, and SME workers can receive a reduction of up to 1.3 percentage points annually.
The loan limit is up to 10 million KRW. Even young workers without conditions on annual income or length of employment can borrow up to 3 million KRW. Loan applications and disbursements are available through IBK’s i-ONE Bank app.

An IBK official stated, “We have significantly expanded interest rate reductions to alleviate the financial burden on SME workers,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in providing inclusive financial support for SME workers.”
