Dobong-gu Installs and Operates Temporary Screening Clinic at Changdong Station Exit 1... Free COVID-19 Testing
Located near Plaza by Platform 61 at Exit 1 of Changdong Station, testing available for all residents regardless of symptoms... Open weekdays 9 AM to 6 PM, weekends 10 AM to 3 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) will operate additional temporary screening clinics for expanded COVID-19 testing for three weeks until January 3 next year to detect asymptomatic COVID-19 cases early and prevent further spread.
The temporary screening clinic has been set up near the plaza by Platform 61 at Exit 1 of Changdong Station and will operate from 2 PM on the 14th.
Operating hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM on weekdays and from 10 AM to 3 PM on weekends.
Residents who wish to get tested can receive free testing at the screening clinic even if they do not have suspected COVID-19 symptoms.
In particular, the “anonymous testing” system, which only requires providing a personal mobile phone number, was introduced to prevent avoidance of testing and stigmatization of those tested, while also enhancing convenience.
The operating staff consists of doctors, nurses, clinical pathologists, and other support personnel who are deployed to run the temporary screening clinic.
Additionally, the district plans to gradually expand the operation of temporary screening clinics depending on the trend of COVID-19 spread.

Mayor Dongjin Lee of Dobong-gu said, “Since we are installing temporary screening clinics to expand testing to block hidden asymptomatic infection sources, we hope for active participation to enable proactive testing. We also urge strong social distancing practices such as canceling year-end gatherings and events and staying at home.”
