Busan Gijang-gun Selected for 3 Categories and 5 Teams in the 2020 Busan Lifelong Learning Awards

The 'Busan Lifelong Learning Awards (大賞)' is an award established by the Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute to discover excellent lifelong learning cases in the Busan area and to spread the culture of lifelong learning. Every year, it honors teams that have shown dedication and achievements in the development of lifelong learning in the Busan region.
In the individual (lifelong learner) category, Park Se-ryong, the representative of the 'Park Daebak Folk Art Performance Group Club,' received the Grand Prize (Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute Director's Award). Delivery lecture instructor Jo Yoon-kyung won the Excellence Award (Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute Director's Award).
Also, in the lifelong learning club category, the 'Heureum Seowon Club' was selected for the Special Award (Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute Director's Award). In the institution category, Jeonggwan Senior Welfare Center received the Grand Prize (Busan Metropolitan City Superintendent of Education Award), and Gijang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center was awarded the Excellence Award (Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute Director's Award).
The awardees will receive certificates and, as prizes, lifelong education project funds (for institutions) and prize money (for clubs and individuals) according to the award level at the '9th Busan Lifelong Learning Awards (大賞)' ceremony on the 18th.
