Seoul Reports 251 New COVID-19 Cases Yesterday... Cumulative Cases Exceed 11,000

As of midnight on the 10th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul increased by 251 from the previous day, bringing the total cumulative confirmed cases to 11,175.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul surged from 193 on the 1st of this month to 262 on the 2nd, and 295 on the 3rd, and has remained well above 200 each day through the 9th.
The infection routes of the newly confirmed cases from the previous day include 11 cases related to Pagoda Town in Jongno-gu (cumulative 169), 8 cases related to Namdaemun Market in Jung-gu (cumulative 34), 4 cases related to a sauna in Dongjak-gu (cumulative 33), 3 cases related to a building in Mapo-gu (cumulative 13), and 3 cases each related to hospitals in Seongdong-gu (cumulative 8) and Gangseo-gu (cumulative 51).
Additionally, there were 11 cases from other group infections, 118 cases from contact with other confirmed patients, 18 cases from contact with confirmed patients from other cities or provinces, and 64 cases are still under investigation for their infection routes.
So far in Seoul, 7,286 people have been declared recovered and discharged, while 3,784 are currently in isolation and receiving treatment.
