The 3rd Basic Plan for Architecture Policy Public Hearing to be Held Online on the 10th
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 9th that it will hold a public hearing for the "3rd Basic Plan for Architectural Policy," which outlines the direction of architectural policy for the next five years, online at 2:30 PM on the 10th.
The Basic Plan for Architectural Policy was first established in 2010 under the Framework Act on Architecture and is an important plan that sets the national vision and basic direction for architectural policy every five years.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport formed a dedicated team of experts for the 3rd Basic Plan for Architectural Policy starting in July to create safe and comfortable architectural spaces.
In August, for the first time in the process of establishing the Basic Plan for Architectural Policy, a nationwide architectural policy idea contest was held to incorporate various ideas proposed by the public into the basic plan.
A total of 51 entries were submitted through videos, essays, posters, etc., and after evaluation, nine works were selected, including one grand prize, one top excellence award, two excellence awards, and five encouragement awards.
