One Additional COVID-19 Case Confirmed Among Recruits at Yeoncheon New Soldier Training Center
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter]One more trainee has tested positive at the new recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, where a cluster infection occurred.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 9th, this trainee was classified as a close contact of the first confirmed case at the training center on the 25th of last month and was quarantined. Symptoms appeared late, and upon testing, the result was positive. As a result, the cumulative number of confirmed cases at the Yeoncheon training center reached 82 in two weeks.

The total cumulative number of confirmed cases in the military is 432, of which 176 are currently receiving treatment. Including 24 who recovered on this day, the remaining 256 have recovered.
