COVID-19 Cases Related to Ulsan Yangji Nursing Hospital Increase to 109

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The number of confirmed cases related to Ulsan Yangji Nursing Hospital's novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased to 109 as of 3 p.m. on the 8th.
Ulsan City announced that 9 additional confirmed cases related to Yangji Nursing Hospital were identified on the same day. So far, 71 patients and 6 medical staff at the hospital have tested positive.
According to the cohort isolation measures by the quarantine authorities, treatment of confirmed cases is being conducted on the 3rd, 4th, and 7th floors within the hospital. Patients and hospital staff who tested negative are living on other floors and are being retested every 2 to 3 days.

Additionally, hospital staff who were outside the hospital during the cohort isolation are being quarantined in separately arranged accommodations. After the quarantine period ends, they are scheduled to rotate with the staff currently inside the hospital to provide patient treatment and care.
