Selected Entry from Samwon Comprehensive Architects Co., Ltd. in Design Competition
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 8th that the work submitted by Samwon Comprehensive Architectural Office Co., Ltd. (Architect Yoon Cheol-jun) was selected as the winning entry through the design competition for the construction of the 'Youth Knowledge Playground.'
The judging committee, composed of experts in architectural planning, design, structure, construction, and landscaping, selected the final winning work at a meeting held on the 2nd, focusing on harmony with the surrounding environment, layout planning, spatial planning, technical planning, and flexible space utilization that can respond to changes in demand.
The Gyeongsan Youth Knowledge Playground is planned to be constructed with a total project cost of 19.8 billion KRW, covering a total floor area of 4,451㎡ with one basement floor and seven above-ground floors.
