OK Financial Group, Blood Donation Relay Campaign "Leading the Fight Against COVID-19"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] OK Financial Group announced on the 8th that it will carry out the "Weidaehan Minguk, Company-wide Blood Donation Relay" campaign until the 20th.
This blood donation campaign is part of OK Financial Group's annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) program called the "Social Contribution Festival," which is conducted for all employees. It is being held at OK Financial Group headquarters (Seoul), Hoehyeon and Gasan centers, Daejeon center, and various regional branches.
Since signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Red Cross in 2010, OK Financial Group has conducted blood donation campaigns annually for its employees. This initiative originated from the will of Chairman Choi Yoon of OK Financial Group, who is committed to extending a "warm hand" to those in need within our society.
This year, the company-wide blood donation campaign has been expanded from once a year to twice a year. Earlier, in February, OK Financial Group held a company-wide blood donation campaign to help overcome the blood shortage caused by COVID-19. According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters, as of the 2nd, the total blood supply is sufficient for 3.4 days, which is 1.6 days short of the adequate supply of 5 days.
