Shinsegae Department Store Unveils Limited Edition 'Home Party' Products for Year-End
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae Department Store is launching a campaign to attract customers spending the year-end at home.
Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 7th that it will hold exclusive events for Christmas home party supplies and wine to celebrate the year-end.
First, at 'Pishon,' a lifestyle select shop operated by Shinsegae, customers can find a variety of brand products in one place, ranging from home decoration items to gifts and home party supplies for Christmas.
Representative products include the Goodwill Christmas Tree Music Box priced at 119,000 KRW, Sander Lyra Star Mat at 27,000 KRW, and Koon Ceramic Audrey Hepburn Mug at 105,000 KRW.
A Christmas tree pop-up event will also be held. The flower interior brand ‘Bloomycity’ is opening a pop-up at the Gangnam branch until the 13th, selling Christmas DIY sets. They showcase decorations that allow families to enjoy the year-end atmosphere even while staying at home.
The mask brand ‘Project.B’ is introducing fashion masks with Christmas sentiments. This pop-up, exclusively available offline, will be held at the main and Gangnam branches.
Wines, essential for year-end home parties, are also prepared. ‘Mo?t & Chandon’ offers lettering services on wine cases at the Shinsegae main and Gangnam branches, and operates an engraving event where customers can inscribe messages directly on champagne bottles. The champagne tree made with ‘Drappier,’ a champagne favored by former French President Charles de Gaulle, can only be seen at Shinsegae.
The perfume case edition of ‘Piper-Heidsieck,’ famous as Marilyn Monroe’s champagne, is also sold exclusively at Shinsegae. Customers who purchase the perfume edition will be entered into a draw to receive perfume and a shower gown.
Shinsegae exclusively presents the British royal tea brand ‘Fortnum & Mason,’ which released limited Christmas season products in December. The product lineup includes black tea, green tea, and biscuits. A promotion giving bags to customers who purchase over 100,000 KRW is also underway for the Christmas season.
At the Gangnam branch, starting from the 18th, customers can enjoy Italy’s traditional Christmas snack Panettone paired with Dolce & Gabbana’s luxurious design. Additionally, chocolates and hot chocolate made by Michelin 3-star chef Thomas Keller will be available. A pop-up event by the German eco-friendly brand Bompass, which fills fresh olive oil and vinegar for customers on the spot, will also be held.
Meanwhile, Shinsegae decorated the exterior of its main branch with LED lights starting in November to celebrate Christmas. For the first time this year, a message offering comfort for weary daily life, ‘Thank you for your hard work this year,’ was displayed on an LED screen, attracting attention.
