One Additional COVID-19 Case Confirmed Overnight in Gwangju...6 Cases Reported in One Day
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Overnight, one additional COVID-19 case was confirmed in Gwangju, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to six on the 4th.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 5th, Mr. A, residing in Jangdeok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. A was classified as a contact of patient number 119 in Jongno and was confirmed positive in a test conducted before the end of self-quarantine.
Among the 738 confirmed cases in Gwangju, 611 have recovered and been discharged, while 124 are currently receiving isolation treatment. There have been three deaths to date.
A total of 246,269 tests have been conducted, and currently 1,017 people are awaiting test results.
