[Weather] Tomorrow Morning (4th) Temperatures Below Freezing... Beware of 'Thin Ice'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] On the 4th, morning temperatures in most parts of the country are expected to remain below freezing, continuing the cold weather.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 3rd, morning temperatures on the 4th will drop below freezing in most inland areas, with daytime temperatures around 5 degrees Celsius in the central region and around 10 degrees Celsius in the southern region, making it chilly.
The morning low temperatures are expected to range from -9 to 2 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures from 3 to 11 degrees Celsius.
From the night of the 4th to the early morning of the next day, there will occasionally be snowfall in the southern Gyeonggi region, Chungcheong Province, and Jeonbuk.
In areas with snowfall, many roads will be slippery, and on the west coast of Jeonbuk, raindrops freezing on the roads may create thin ice, so special caution is required for traffic safety.
The Korea Meteorological Administration emphasized that the air is very dry in Gangwon Yeongdong, the Gyeongsang coast, Seoul and parts of Gyeonggi Province, inland Gyeongsang, and eastern Jeonnam where dry weather warnings have been issued, and that the air will gradually become dry in other areas as well, urging attention to prevent various fires such as forest fires.
