Yeonggwang-gun, Apply for 'Government-Distributed Rice Seeds' by the 18th
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seong-jeong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 3rd that it is accepting applications for the 2020 rice government-supplied seeds to be cultivated next year from rice farmers until the 18th.
Applications can be made by visiting the agricultural consultation offices or agricultural technology centers in the applicant's resident eup/myeon.
The county will finalize the supply quantity of government-supplied seeds per farm by the end of this month, and the supply will be provided through local agricultural cooperatives from January to late March next year.
The available rice varieties for application are 8 types totaling 115 tons, all supplied as untreated seeds, and the supply price for government-supplied seeds is expected to be decided in January next year.
Additionally, to provide high-purity superior seeds and reduce farm management costs, a subsidy of about 10,000 KRW per rice seed bag will be supported.
