[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency will hold the '2020 Content Industry Review and 2021 Outlook Seminar' online at 2 p.m. on the 9th.
This seminar will look back on the content industry in 2020, which experienced changes across the entire industry including content production, distribution, and consumption due to the normalization of non-face-to-face interactions caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and will provide an outlook for 2021.
In the first part of the seminar, Park Hyuk-tae, head of the Industry Policy Team at the Korea Creative Content Agency, will present an analysis of the 2020 keywords. Regarding the 2021 outlook, Song Jin, Future Policy Director, will announce the keywords for next year's content industry. In the second part, a panel discussion forecasting next year's trends will be held with industry experts, moderated by Professor Choi Se-jung of Korea University.
