[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] JB Financial Group Jeonbuk Bank announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting participants for the ‘LASIK and LASEK Vision Correction Surgery Free Support Project’ in collaboration with the non-profit organization Damjang Neomeo.
Jeonbuk Bank prepared this project to gift new light and hope by providing free vision correction surgery to Cambodian marriage migrant women in the province who have had poor eyesight and experienced many inconveniences in daily life, helping them live a healthy life in Korea.
Jeonbuk Bank plans to prioritize selecting candidates who ▲ have had difficulty undergoing vision correction surgery due to economic hardship, ▲ need vision correction surgery due to special circumstances, and ▲ have a strong will to settle and serve as role models while living in Korea.
The vision correction surgery, including pre-examination, surgery, and post-care, will be provided free of charge. After the first document screening, the final candidates will be selected through a second medical institution review, and suitable surgery will be supported individually. Applications are open until the 18th, and detailed inquiries can be made to Jeonbuk Bank’s Social Contribution Department.
