Gwanak-gu, Recruitment of Participants for Disabled Employment in 2021
Recruiting a total of 118 people from the 4th to 11th for general and welfare jobs... Providing customized jobs for employment-vulnerable disabled, expanding social participation and contributing to income security
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is recruiting participants for the 2021 Disabled Employment Project to expand social participation and ensure income for disabled people, who are vulnerable to employment.
This project will run from January 1 to December 31, 2021, with a total of 118 positions available (41 full-time, 13 part-time, 55 welfare jobs, and 9 assistant caregiver jobs for people with developmental disabilities).
Eligibility requires applicants to be registered disabled persons aged 18 or older who are unemployed, with assistant caregiver jobs specifically for people with developmental disabilities. However, those who have participated in disabled employment for more than two consecutive years, those registered as business owners, National Health Insurance workplace subscribers, and those who have received long-term care grade assessments are excluded from selection.
Working hours are 40 hours per week for full-time, 20 hours per week for part-time, up to 14 hours per week for welfare jobs, and 25 hours per week for assistant caregiver jobs for people with developmental disabilities. Various work benefits such as enrollment in the four major social insurances and paid holidays are also provided.
The application period is from December 4 to 11. Those applying for general jobs (full-time, part-time) should apply at their local community service center, while those interested in welfare jobs or assistant caregiver jobs for people with developmental disabilities should visit and apply at the Gwanak-gu Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center.
Selected participants will be assigned to community service centers and social (disabled) welfare facilities to support public and welfare administration tasks, administrative duties and direct service support related to social (disabled) welfare, and environmental maintenance work.
The district office will notify applicants of the selection results individually via text message after December 24, following qualification screening and interviews.
