According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 27th, 10 additional confirmed cases were identified overnight, bringing the total to 13 cases in one day.
Cases 650 and 654?659 are related to Chonnam National University Hospital. All tested positive before being released from self-quarantine.
Among them, neurosurgeons are cases 650, 655, 656, and 657, while case 654 is known to be an acquaintance of a nurse at Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital. Cases 658 and 659 are acquaintances of patients discharged from the hospital.
Cases 652 and 653 are classified as related to Sangil Middle School.
Case 651 is currently under investigation for the infection route.
Meanwhile, Sangil Middle School, which underwent a full investigation after confirmed cases were identified, reported no additional positive cases except for the two confirmed cases, with all others testing negative. Seoseok Middle School, where family members of the Sangil Middle School confirmed cases attend, also tested all negative in the full screening.
