Gwangju Veterans Affairs Office Hosts 'Love Kimchi Sharing Event'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Im Seonghyun) announced on the 26th that it held a 'Sharing Love Kimchi Making' event at Dume Natural Kimchi Town.
This kimchi sharing event was held together with the volunteer group of the LG Innotek Co., Ltd. Labor Union Gwangju Branch (Branch Chief Gam Donghyun).
To help vulnerable veteran families such as the elderly, the unattended, and the living alone have a warm winter, 750 kg of kimchi was prepared with sponsorship funds (worth 5 million won) from the members of the LG Innotek Co., Ltd. Labor Union Gwangju Branch.
The Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office plans to deliver the sponsored goods to 150 veteran family households.
The LG Innotek Labor Union Gwangju Branch has been providing warm side dish support services to about 50 single veteran family households every year since 2006.

Since 2007, as part of the labor union's social responsibility activities, they have been practicing love-sharing activities for veteran families, including volunteer house repair services for veteran families, kimchi sharing events since 2014, and free replacement of LED lights for 140 veteran family households since 2016.
