Gwangju Buk-gu Signs Mutual Development Agreement with Seoyeong University
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 26th that it signed a 'Business Agreement for Promoting Public-Academic Cooperation Projects' with Seoyoung University (President Kim Jeongsu).
This business agreement was prepared to nurture local talent and contribute to the development of the local community through sharing human and material resources between the two institutions.
About 10 officials attended the event, including District Mayor Moon In, President Kim Jeongsu, Vice President of Academic Affairs Park Deokryong, and Vice President of External Cooperation Lee Seungcheol.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will develop and operate career experience programs and promote education and job projects such as youth employment and start-up support.
They will also continue welfare projects such as national work-study student job experience and capacity-building programs, establishing welfare one-on-one support for families in care crises, and building a public-private cooperation network to respond to low birth rates.

District Mayor Moon In of Buk-gu said, “The development of education is the development of the region,” and added, “We will promote various projects that allow the local community and education to coexist and develop together with Seoyoung University.”
