The ceremony will last a total of 20 minutes, starting with a commemorative video featuring citizen interviews, the basic plan for personal information protection, and pilot cases of pseudonymized information integration, followed by congratulatory remarks from the Political Affairs Committee Chairman, a commemorative speech by Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun, and the vision proclamation ceremony.
In addition, the policy vision and slogan that indicate the future direction of the Personal Information Protection Commission will also be unveiled. The vision has been set as "Safe Personal Information, Trusted Data Era," and the slogan as "If you cannot protect it, you cannot prove it."
To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the event will minimize on-site attendance and simultaneously conduct an online live broadcast via YouTube.
