[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) is operating a respiratory specialty clinic to prevent COVID-19 infection.
The respiratory specialty clinic is designed to provide dedicated care for respiratory and fever patients whose symptoms are similar to COVID-19 and who are often reluctant to receive active treatment at frontline medical institutions.
Dongdaemun-gu has designated Samyook Seoul Hospital and Seoul Seongsim Hospital, located in the area, as respiratory specialty clinics to safely and promptly treat patients suffering from colds, sore throats, and fever in separate examination rooms, minimizing treatment gaps and protecting medical staff and institutions from COVID-19 infection.
The treatment is operated by appointment only to separate the movement paths of respiratory patients and prepare for prior treatment. Samyook Seoul Hospital's respiratory specialty clinic operates Sunday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Seoul Seongsim Hospital's respiratory specialty clinic operates on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
