Seocho-gu Social Welfare Workers Untact Healing Capacity Building Training
Untact Healing Education Selected Directly by Social Workers for 464 Workers at 21 Social Welfare Facilities and Institutions: Miniature Making, Aromatherapy, Healing Cooking, Color Therapy, Traditional Liquor Brewing, and More
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seocho-gu (Mayor Cho Eun-hee) commemorated Social Welfare Day 2020 by conducting an untact healing capacity-building training to strengthen the COVID-19 response capabilities of social welfare workers amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The untact healing training was conducted online for 464 social welfare workers from 21 social welfare institutions and facilities within the region.
This was prepared to meet the need for prior experience among social welfare workers to establish untact welfare in the social welfare field during the uncertain duration of the COVID-19 situation.
The training was especially meaningful and highly satisfactory as the program was directly selected through a needs survey targeting social welfare workers.
The untact healing programs chosen by the social welfare workers included ▲craft activities such as miniature making, aromatherapy, woodworking, and leather crafting ▲cooking classes such as healing cooking, traditional liquor brewing, and baking ▲and activities like book discussions, movie watching, color therapy, and pop art, which stimulated the emotions of social welfare workers and enhanced their self-esteem.
