Sangju City Installs Unmanned Mental Health Screening Machine in Civil Service Office... "Blow Away Stress with the Mind Magnifier"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Sangju City announced on the 26th that it installed an unmanned mental health screening machine in the city hall civil service office on the 25th as part of the Life Love Culture Creation Project.
Visitors to the civil service office can self-assess their mental health, depression/anxiety, addiction, psychosis, and children’s mental health across a total of five categories using the mental health screening machine.
The test results are transmitted in real-time to the Sangju City Mental Health Welfare Center. Subjects identified as caution or high-risk groups undergo in-depth examination and counseling with consent and can receive continuous case management.

Lee In-su, director of the Sangju City Public Health Center, stated, "This will improve access to mental health services for citizens and staff and be effective in reducing the incidence of severe mental illnesses in the community through early detection of high-risk mental health groups." He added, "We will strive to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and improve social perceptions of mental illness."
