View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) announced on the 25th that it will sign an agreement with Home&Shopping (CEO Kim Ok-chan) at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business in Yeouido to support sales channels and welfare improvement for small businesses and small merchants.
Through the agreement with Home&Shopping, the Federation plans to guide small businesses and small merchants who are members of the Yellow Umbrella Fund, whose offline sales have slowed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), on how to enter Home&Shopping's mobile platform, and upon entry, provide benefits such as ▲ exemption from guarantee insurance fees for 2 years ▲ sales commission rate discounts ▲ entry into the SME-exclusive section, Domissol# ▲ and hosting Yellow Umbrella special exhibitions.
Additionally, new Yellow Umbrella subscribers will receive 20,000 won in points upon signing up as Home&Shopping members and an additional 10% points accumulation benefit through 'Relay PangPang,' enabling them to purchase excellent small business products at affordable prices. Seo Seung-won, the full-time vice chairman of the Federation, stated, "Through this cooperation with Home&Shopping, we hope that small businesses and small merchants struggling due to COVID-19 will receive support for online sales channels and affordable purchasing benefits." He added, "We will continue to develop various partnership services for the Yellow Umbrella Fund to support sales channels and improve welfare for small businesses and small merchants."
