283 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed by 6 PM Today
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea was recorded at 283 as of 6 p.m. on the 24th.
According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and other local governments, a total of 283 new confirmed cases were reported nationwide from midnight to 6 p.m. on that day. This is an increase of 31 cases compared to the same time the previous day.
Among the 283 cases reported in the interim tally, 210 were in the Seoul metropolitan area and 73 were in non-metropolitan areas. By city and province, there were 124 in Seoul, 52 in Gyeonggi, 34 in Incheon, 18 in Busan, 17 in Chungnam, 12 in Gyeongnam, 4 each in Ulsan, Daegu, Gangwon, and Gwangju, 3 in Jeonnam, 2 each in Jeju, Gyeongbuk, and Daejeon, and 1 in Jeonbuk.
