Police Pursue Two Men Who Assaulted Passenger Asking to Wear Mask on Subway Line 9
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Two men assaulted citizens who demanded mask-wearing on the Seoul subway, prompting the police to launch a manhunt.
According to the police on the 24th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul is tracking the whereabouts of two men who assaulted Mr. A (55) and others inside a train entering Sapaeng Station on Line 9 of the subway around 9:30 p.m. the previous day.
They are accused of assaulting Mr. A, who demanded proper mask-wearing, as well as two other citizens who tried to intervene. It is reported that they fled when a station staff member approached.

A police official stated, "We plan to track them through on-site closed-circuit television (CCTV) and accurately identify all individuals involved in the assault."
