According to Cheongho Nice, sales of ice water purifiers from September to October increased by about 20% compared to the same period last year.
Cheongho Nice, which launched the world's first ice water purifier in 2003, has since enhanced its expertise in functional water purifiers by releasing products such as wine cellar ice water purifiers, ultra-compact countertop ice water purifiers, coffee ice water purifiers, and carbonated water ice water purifiers.
The sterilizing ice water purifier Senita series, launched in May last year, currently accounts for about 35% of Cheongho Nice's total ice water purifier sales and is a representative product.
As for the reason why ice water purifiers, which had strong seasonality, showed an increase in sales even in the off-season autumn, Cheongho Nice explained, "The electricity cost of ice water purifiers is almost the same as that of cold water purifiers, so they can be used without burden even in seasons when ice consumption slightly decreases," adding, "These product advantages appealed to consumers."
