59 Busan Gwangyang High School Students and Staff Suffer Mass Food Poisoning
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] Health authorities are conducting an epidemiological investigation into the outbreak of food poisoning symptoms among students and staff at Busan Seogu Tourism High School.
According to the Seogu Health Center in Busan on the 18th, specimen tests were conducted on 129 Tourism High School students and staff who showed food poisoning symptoms between the 9th and 10th, resulting in 59 people being diagnosed with food poisoning.
The Seogu Health Center detected pathogenic Escherichia coli in those who tested positive in the investigation. Earlier, Tourism High School reported to health authorities when suspected food poisoning cases occurred on the 9th.
