‘Hampyeong-gun Talent Development Fund’ Receives Continuous Donations from Local Residents

According to Hampyeong-gun on the 18th, Cheonji Steel Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim In), located in the local Hakgyo-myeon area, donated 5 million won to the county's talent development fund the day before, requesting that it be used for nurturing local talents.
Cheonji Steel, a steel house construction company, conducts steady donation activities every year as part of its local return projects.
On the same day, Lee Sun-young (48, female), residing in Daedong-myeon, also generously donated 1 million won to the county's talent development fund.
Ms. Lee, who returned to farming in Hampyeong, has participated as a face painting vendor every year since the 2001 Butterfly Festival and has been donating 100 boxes of tangerines and 1 million won to the county since 2016.
Lee Sang-ik, the mayor of Hampyeong-gun, said, “We thank everyone who has donated to the Hampyeong-gun Talent Development Fund,” and added, “We will ensure that your sincerity is faithfully delivered to local talents in need without any loss.”
