Meritz Securities Launches Pre-Market Trading Service for US Stocks
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Meritz Securities announced on the 16th that it will start a Pre-Market service that allows stock trading before the US regular market opens.
With this service, users of Meritz Securities' stock trading system can trade US stocks starting 1 hour and 30 minutes before the regular market opens. In Korean time, this is from 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Typically, US companies announce their earnings either before the market opens or immediately after it closes. Depending on these announcements, the US stock market tends to experience increased price volatility even before the market officially opens. More detailed information about the Pre-Market service can be found on the Meritz Securities website.
