Shinhan Card Launches Partnership Card with Delivery App Yogiyo... "Up to 25,000 KRW Discount per Month"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card has launched a credit card specialized for the delivery application (app) 'Yogiyo' in collaboration with Yogiyo.
Shinhan Card announced on the 16th that it signed a business partnership agreement with Delivery Hero Korea and released the 'Yogiyo Shinhan Card,' which offers discount benefits on Yogiyo, a leading domestic delivery app.
The newly introduced Yogiyo Shinhan Card is characterized by its service design that aligns with the rapidly growing delivery service market and the paradigm shift toward contactless consumption, driven by the recent spread of 'Jipkok' (staying at home) lifestyle.
When using Yogiyo, the card provides a 20% discount on the payment date. Discounts are up to 2,000 KRW per transaction and up to 20,000 KRW per month. Additionally, customers who subscribe to at least one of Netflix, YouTube Premium, or Watcha Play can receive an extra 10% cashback up to 5,000 KRW per month, allowing for a maximum monthly benefit of 25,000 KRW through Yogiyo usage.
Furthermore, services in various industries gaining attention in the contactless era are also notable. For OTT (Over The Top) services such as Netflix, YouTube Premium, and Watcha Play, a 15% discount is applied within a monthly combined limit of 5,000 KRW when making regular payments.
Also, when spending over 50,000 KRW at online shopping malls such as Coupang, Gmarket, 11st, LotteON, SSG.com, Market Kurly, and Oasis Market, a 2,000 KRW discount per transaction is provided (limited to once daily and up to five times monthly). Along with this, a 10% discount on the payment date is available for Starbucks Siren Order and Wine N More, with a monthly combined limit of three times and up to 10,000 KRW.
The annual fee for the Yogiyo Shinhan Card is 24,000 KRW for domestic use only and 27,000 KRW for overseas use (Mastercard).
